About
Meg’s work often centres on women’s stories. This is rooted in her own experience, leading her to co-found Skateboobs, a female and queer skate collective.
Her documentary work includes White Horses, a surf film created with Red Bull and ROXY, following surfer Emily Grimes. The film is now available on Amazon Prime and reflects Meg’s instinct for capturing intimate, character-led stories within expansive natural landscapes.
More recently, Meg was awarded Young Scottish Filmmaker of the Year 2026 at GSFF for her short documentary Mother’s Influence, further cementing her voice as a filmmaker drawn to honest, personal storytelling. Mother’s Influence has had a successful festival run, including EIFF, Aesthetica, and DOC NYC.
Meg brings her documentary sensibility to commercial work for brands including Three Mobile, ASICS, Perfect Draft and Stella Artois - work that’s both authentic and visually striking, and includes a Silver Cannes Lion for her ASICS film, and a Young Arrow nomination for The Home Furthest From a Pub.
